Lee takes vehicles in trade all the time, and we make a select number available to the public for a limited time before they are sent to auction. By state law, these vehicles are not for immediate transportation and must be towed from the lot. You'll receive a report listing the items that caused the vehicle to fail its state inspection.
Public Wholesale
All vehicles denoted as “Wholesale to the Public” are sold as “Unsafe Motor Vehicles” with no explicit or implied warranty. We have performed a Maine State Inspection to determine what safety repairs are needed to pass for a sticker and will provide you with the inspection report identifying the item(s) that caused the vehicle to fail the state's safety requirements. You have the option after purchasing the vehicle to have those repairs made in our service department or you can tow it off our lot. All costs to repair and/or tow the vehicle will be at the sole expense of the purchaser.
